Superior AvenueAs a key component in the re-birth of a neighborhood, the improvements to Superior Avenue from East 18th Street to East 30th Street have helped transform part of Cleveland’s urban core. Improvements included resurfacing the street and sidewalk areas, new lighting, and buried utilities. Sidewalk improvements include a concrete splash strip, wide treelawns, and a simple black piperail surrounding the treelawns that reflects the industrial nature of the neighborhood. Locations for large scale public art installations were included in an area where many artists live and work. |
