Hudson Downtown RedevelopmentHudson’s downtown district expanded in an area once occupied by an abandoned factory. The commercial redevelopment with new streets, buildings, and an extension of the Village Green provides for a pedestrian friendly atmosphere. The nineteen-acre site included five new city streets and a one square block park that connects to Hudson’s traditional Village Green and network of trails. As a partner in the design team, McKnight Associates was responsible for the streetscape and planting design. A public / private partnership was key to the success of the project. |
