Perk ParkIn a joint effort for ParkWorks, the firms of Thomas Balsley Associates and McKnight Associates, Ltd. generated a design plan for the redevelopment of this important urban park in downtown Cleveland. The design juxtaposes a sunny lawn area with a "forest" of shady existing trees and seating below. Covered terraced seating and cafe areas will surround the perimeter of the park. An informal performance stage area between the lawn and "forest" will contain an interactive fountain. The project included extensive public involvement; funding sources are currently being identified. |
