Orchard School Community ParkWorking with the non-profits ParkWorks and the Natural Learning Initiative, McKnight Associates Ltd. converted one and one half acres of broken asphalt into an active open space and dynamic park with much needed greenspace. Orchard School Community Park is now a National Model Learning site where the community residents, students, and school staff can learn, play and relax in a creative and inspiring outdoor setting. Environmental habitats and specialty horticultural learning areas supplement the school's curriculum. American Society of Landscape Architects - Ohio Chapter Honor Award 2002. |
