BFI RecyclingIn an effort to upgrade site conditions and provide a flexible depot for the collection of recyclable waste products, Browning Feris Industries landfill in Lorain County embarked on an extensive rejuvenation of its facility. We worked with the client and their architect to provide a recreation park adjacent to a new state-of-the-art facility that serves as an interpretive center to explain the recycling process. The landscape design complements the architecture. A park-like setting features active recreation fields used by the adjacent communities. |
