Sarah Benedict House GardenThe Cleveland Restoration Society's renovated headquarters in the Upper Prospect Avenue Historic District is a testament to the preservation of significant historic structures. The grounds adjacent to the Victorian era home were converted into a terraced garden. Jim McKnight teamed with sculptor Malcolm Cochran to create a public garden for the neighborhood that features a whimsical hoop fence and hearth fountain that recalls the memory of the fallen mansions of Cleveland's Victorian era. Materials include decorative granite paving, wrought iron trellis and period-inspired plantings. |
