India Cultural GardenLocated in Cleveland's chain of Cultural Gardens at Rockefeller Park, the India Cultural Garden honors the culture and heritage of India-Americans. The design consists of a central circular lawn with a raised performance space framed by an entry gateway. Stone pillars recognizing India's cultural and historical accomplishments surround the circular space. A sculpture of Mahatma Gandhi is prominently featured. Grand steps down to Doan Brook will evoke the ceremonial terraces along the River Ganges. |
